The 1620-type 3LPE steel pipe anti-corrosion production line, designed and manufactured by Qingdao Huashida Machine Co., Ltd. a leading steel pipe coating equipment manufacturer built to withstand the harsh natural conditions of the Middle East , completed final packing of all components on July 23. The complete set of anti-corrosion pipe coating equipment has been loaded into 16 full shipping containers , lined up in a long formation, and has now officially departed for the Qatari client’s project site .
This 1620-type 3LPE steel pipe anti-corrosion production line was produced in strict compliance with international technical standards and configuration requirements. The Qatari client commissioned TÜV NORD Germany , a globally recognized quality certification body, to deploy surveyors on-site to carry out rigorous inspection and testing covering the production line’s configurations, component quality and technical parameters. However, shipping logistics suffered repeated delays following the outbreak of regional conflict in the Middle East in late February, a matter of persistent concern for both Huashida and its partner. Shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz were disrupted, international ocean freight rateskept rising, and secure maritime transit remained hard to guarantee even at elevated costs. Faced with these growing logistical hurdles , the client maintained an urgent demand for the pipe coating production line to fabricate anti-corrosion coated steel pipesneeded for ongoing energy pipeline construction projects .
To expedite delivery of the 1620-type 3LPE steel pipe anti-corrosion production line and meet the client’s long-standing expectations, Huashida held ongoing negotiations with the client and international freight forwarders and finally secured a combined sea-and-land transportation route. Safe delivery of this large-scale pipeline equipment over 7,100 kilometers to Qatar, with every component safeguarded throughout the lengthy, turbulent international shipping voyage , demanded thorough preparations. Huashida strengthened protective packaging for precision instruments and core components and partnered with a professional loading and logistics firm to kick off formal loading and export customs clearance procedures on the 20th. The team exercised meticulous care throughout loading operations. Work extended until 10 p.m., yet all staff agreed the extra efforts were worthwhile. Huashida consistently adheres to a customer-first service philosophy, regarding this project as both an obligation to the client and a testament to Huashida’s brand reputation .
Following four straight days of intensive work, the complete 1620-type 3LPE steel pipe anti-corrosion production line was fully stowed inside the 16 shipping containers and dispatched toward Huangdao Port.
