China has recently achieved a major breakthrough in the field of three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion equipment for outer walls of oil and gas pipelines. The high-end intelligent automatic complete 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe production line independently developed by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. has officially realized stable mass production and obtained the Shandong Provincial "First Set of Major Technical Equipment" certification.
The coating capacity of a single production line reaches 800 square meters per hour, 2 to 3 times higher than traditional models, while the comprehensive energy consumption is reduced by 18% to 25%. This equipment has broken the long-term technological monopoly established by overseas enterprises in the high-end 3PE anti-corrosion equipment sector, and filled the gap in the industrial chain of domestic high-end anti-corrosion pipe manufacturing equipment.
With full-range adaptability covering pipe diameters from Φ25 mm to Φ4200 mm, this production line caters to diversified construction demands including small and medium-diameter municipal gas pipelines, large oil & gas trunk lines, and deep-sea engineering pipelines. For emerging application scenarios such as offshore engineering and hydrogen transportation pipelines, key indicators of pipes produced
by the equipment, including anti-corrosion coating peel strength and impact resistance, exceed current industrial standards, greatly expanding the scope of applicable projects.
Senior experts in the anti-corrosion pipe equipment industry pointed out that the successful mass production of Qingdao Huashida’s 800 m²/h grade 3PE anti-corrosion production line marks the full industrial chain independence and controllability of China’s complete sets of 3PE pipe anti-corrosion equipment.
