Liu Ping, General Manager of Inner Mongolia Hengruikai Pipe Technology Co., Ltd., first bought four insulated pipe production lines and foaming units from Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. after hearing Chairman Huang Baodong explain the technology. He has now signed another contract, this time for Huashida’s internal/external epoxy and external 3PE anti-corrosion production line.
In early 2024, Liu visited manufacturers in Jiangsu and Shandong to source an insulated pipe production line. Back in Ordos, he still felt uneasy, because none of those suppliers had answered his questions. He then learned that Qingdao Huashida was the more specialized equipment maker. Its insulated pipe lines are known for high speed and efficiency, and most well-known insulated pipe producers use Huashida equipment, including seven or eight customers in Inner Mongolia. Confident that such equipment would be reliable, he flew to Qingdao two days later.
At Huashida, Liu listened to Huang’s explanation of insulated pipe production technology and process and was deeply impressed by his theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. He was already leaning toward Huashida. On the factory floor, he saw insulated pipe lines bound for Russia and the UAE, as well as for domestic customers, all ready to ship at factory standard. That settled his decision.
Liu is a true technology enthusiast and eager learner. After the line was installed at his plant, he learned from the Huashida engineers who came for commissioning and studied every component with the operators until he had mastered the technology and process. Thanks to the line’s high automation and Liu’s own study, one person can now run production, which sharply cuts labor costs. Three months of non-stop operation also proved its stability and reliability. So, when Hengruikai needed a steel pipe internal/external epoxy and external 3PE anti-corrosion line, turning to Huashida again was only natural.
