The DN6600 longitudinal welded pipe coating line, designed and manufactured by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. for a large inter-regional water diversion project covering the Pearl River Delta and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Guangdong Province, commenced full phased shipment on September 24. The first batch includes internal & external blast cleaning machines, rod fixing steps and other components. Remaining spare parts and assemblies will be shipped successively over an extended delivery schedule.
This Huashida DN6600 coating line is capable of producing anti-corrosion steel pipes with lengths ranging from 3 m to 10 m. The finished pipes are widely used in large-scale water conservancy, municipal water supply, bridge culverts and other infrastructure projects.
The coated steel pipes manufactured by this line will supply centralized drinking water for multiple cities with populations over one million in the Greater Bay Area. The internal coating fully complies with potable water standards to prevent secondary water contamination. The external cement mortar coating is engineered for buried complex geological conditions, resisting acid and alkaline soil corrosion and greatly extending pipe service life. As a vital livelihood infrastructure project with stringent technical specifications, this contract was awarded to Huashida based on our advanced technical solution, stable equipment performance and mature process system.
DN6600 is an extra-large diameter water transmission steel pipe specification, exceeding DN4800 and DN6400 lined pipes previously adopted in the Pearl River Delta water allocation project. Huashida has previously delivered complete coating lines for DN3600, DN4200 and DN5600 large steel pipes. This project marks another technical breakthrough in the field of extra-large diameter anti-corrosion equipment.
After order confirmation, Huashida implemented a weekly production coordination mechanism to guarantee manufacturing quality and delivery schedule. We strictly control machining precision and carry out regular random inspections and on-site checks. Inspection reports and production progress are shared with the client regularly, subject to client supervision and unannounced spot checks. The production line is now nearing completion and will be shipped in batches after passing quality inspection.
